'Grensloos Genieten' is a Dutch tour company, founded in 2017 by two brothers who invented the word 'traveling'. As tour guides their journeys took them all over the world (more than 150 countries), but now interested souls can travel with them to their own backyard: de Bommelerwaard. Three different tours are available: each of them unique in their own way. Besides traveling in a comfortable minibus, you can also discover this hidden gem on bike or foot. Whatever tour you choose, we are 100% sure you will love to hear our stories. Expect informative and entertaining information about the rich history of this breathtaking region.

And if you have no clue -like most Dutch people- where the Bommelerwaard is situated, just scroll down to the map at the bottom part of this page. For the start of all tours we meet at Zaltbommel Station (there is only one exit), which is in easy reach from Amsterdam (1.15 hour by train, change trains at Utrecht, €27 return ticket), Utrecht (34 minutes, €14 return) and Eindhoven (33 minutes, change trains at 's-Hertogenbosch, €18 return). In order to get on time at Zaltbommel Station (10:30), look at the Dutch Railways Site (just scroll down this page) where you can find the schedule of your train to Zaltbommel Station.

In case you like the Bommelerwaard-region as much as we do, we have two guest rooms available. Please use AIRBNB for bookings.

These photo's above are made by photographer Berta A. Daniels from the USA. We were extremely lucky to have such a talented photographer joining our first bustour. Many of these sites are part of the walking and bike tours.

ALL THESE TOURS CAN BE BOOKED PRIVATELY TOO! JUST SEND US A MESSAGE.

Even many Dutch people have no clue where the Bommelerwaard is situated. Only 50.000 people can call this spread out area home. The centre of this agricultural region, the historical city of Zaltbommel (12.000 inhabitants), has many features unknown to the unsuspecting tourist. But the real wonders of this area are the glorious rivers and strong dikes that dominate the views. They absolutely ask for being discovered and explored. Our local guides -all born and raised in the Bommelerwaard- will take you on a fascinating trip into Zaltbommel as well as along dikes, small villages and across pretty countryside characteristic for the area.
